Premier League: Martial stars as Manchester United ease past Sheffield United 3-0
Anthony Martial scored Manchester United's first hat-trick for more than seven years as he propelled the Red Devils to their first win since the resumption of the Premier League.
Following Solkjaer's side 1-1 draw against Tottenham on Friday last week United knew that only a win would do against a Sheffield side that they drew with 3-3 earlier this season.
The first arrived as early as the 7th minute as Anthony Martial scored after being set up by Marcus Rashford.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka made of doubters of his attacking capabilities as he tormented Enda Stevens to set up Martial's second just a minute before half time.
The treble was completed by a clever chipas he became the first Manchester United player to score an EPL hat trick since Robin Van Persie against Aston Villa in April 2013.
Martial put up a good showing
