AC Milan 3-1 Parma:Calhagnolu inspires Milan fightback against Parma
Milan scored two goals in four minutes as they came from behind to defeat Parma 3-1 at home on Wednesday.
Parma looked to dent Milan's European chase when Parma went ahead through Jasmin Kurtic after 44 minutes at the San Siro.
But Kessie pulled his side level with a spectacular effort after 55 minutes and Captain Alessio Romagnoli scored a header minutes later as the game turned on it's head in swift fashion.
Hakan Calhanoglu rounded off the scoring to secure all three points in Zlatan Ibrahimovic's 100th game for the club.
Milan were very dominant in the early exchanges and saw a Romagnoli header bounce off the left hand post.
Giacomo Bonaventura had a tap in ruled out for offside and Frank Kessie missed a great chance from Rafael Leao's cross, as Parma didn't threaten until Gervinho ran through the defence but fired over.
It was Gervinho who helped create the breakthrough as his pass found Alberto Grassi who did well to cut back for Kurtic who fired low past Donnarumma.
Parma were restricting Milanto shots from outside the box until Kessie thumped in an unstoppable strike off the right hand post 10 minutes after the break.
It was 2-1 before the hour mark as Romagnoli moved into space before nodding in Calhanoglu's expert cross.
Calhanoglu added a well deserved goal to his two assists on the night, as he drilled home a fine finish after Giacomo Bonaventura's pass.
What's next?
Milan host Bologna on Saturday, while Parma host Sampdoria on Sunday.
