Atalanta 6-2 Brescia:Atalanta move up to second with huge win at home
Mario Pasalic scored a hat-trick as Atalanta overcame a sorry Brescia side 6-2 in Serie A.
Mario Pasalic found enough space just after 90 seconds and he placed the ball into the bottom right hand corner to give Atalanta the lead.
Eight minutes later and Brescia were level as Torregrossa got the ball after an unfortunate bounce for Caldara as he tried to chest down the ball, and he calmly converted as he was one on one with the keeper.
The home side regained the lead as 25 minutes into the match Martin De Room came running into the box and he met Robin Gosens cross with a volley and into the net.
Ruslan Malinoskyi picked up the ball at the half way line and moved inside the pitch, placing the ball on his left foot and as the defence kept backing off he smashed the ball into the bottom corner from a long way out.
Duvan Zapata made it 4-1 two minutes later as he slid in at the far post and headed another Gosens cross into the back of the net.
Pasalic scored his second after the break as a wonderful De Roon through ball put Pasalic clear on goal with just the keeper to beat and he obliged as he lifted a first touch finish above Lorenzo Andrenacci.
Four minutes later and the ball was in the path of Pasalic and he scored his first Serie A hat-trick against the team he also scored his first Serie A brace against.
In the 83rd minute Nikolas Spalek received the ball at the right and he took one touch to get inside the area and then fired the ball into the bottom corner.
Atalanta are now back on track as they ran riot against their local rivals, Brescia
