Brighton 1-3 Liverpool: Salah's brace ends Reds dismal away form
Liverpool ended a five game winless away streak as Mohammed Salah struck twice in a 3-1 triumph at the Amex.
Salah and Henderson were on target in the opening eight minutes as the Premier League champions gained control of the match.
Although the match was made trickier after Leandro Trossard's fine goal before the break, but Salah made sure of the three points when he headed in at the corner.
After going 7 hours and 47 minutes without scoring an away goal in all competitions, a barren run stretching back to Sadio Mane's winner at Norwich in February, Liverpool scored twice before the 10 minute mark.
Naby Keita was influential in both goals, setting up the first as he stole possession from Davy Propper before locating Salah who curled in a first time left footed strike.
Brighton failed to hees the early warning as Naby Keita started the counter attack from a turnover. Roberto Firmino and Salah were both involved before Henderson ran onto the ball and sent across Mat Ryan and into the net.
Although, Alisson kept out Neal Maupau with a point blank save but the Brazilian was left helpless by Trossard's half volley from a Tariq Lamptey.
Dan Burn squandered a glorious chance to equalise at the back post, and Salah made him pay.
The Egyptian scored his 19th goal of the season when he scored from Andy Robertson's set piece delivery in the 76th minute.
