Brighton to remain in Premier League after draw with Newcastle United, while Everton put dent on Sheffield United's Europa League hopes

Brighton and Hove Albion are assured to be in the Premier League next season, while Everton might just have ended Sheffield's hopes of European football next season.

A nil/nil stalemate with Newcastle on Monday at the South Coast are now safe with one match left to play.

It was a very low-lived match with both teams only able to have four shots on target in the whole 90 minutes.

While at Bramall Lane,Richarlison scored the only goal less than one minute into the second half as he nodded in a Gylfi Sigurdsson expert delivery from a free kick.

Wilder's men could have risen above Wolves into 7th place but they now have to rely on favourable results elsewhere to stand a chance of qualifying for the Europa League.
