Leicester City 2-0 Sheffield United, Aston Villa 1-1 Everton:Foxes claim vital win in Champions League pursuit, Aston Villa's fight for survival gets dented.

Ayoze Perez and Demarai Gray scored as the Foxes claimed a 2-0 win at the King Power Stadium over Sheffield United.

Keicester's victory was only their second since the restart, as they saw their grip on a top four spot weaken in recent weeks.

But the win has left Leicester just one point behind Chelsea in third place, they also still have tough matches against Tottenham and Manchester United to play.

Ezri Konsa gave Aston Villa the lead against Everton, but an 87th minute equaliser from Theo Walcott left Villa three points behind 17th placed Watford also having played a game more.

Leicester took the lead through Ayoze Perez as he controlled a pass from debutant Luke Thomas a guided the ball through John Egan's legs and into the bottom corner just before the half hour mark.

The second goal came 11 minutes from time as substitute Demarai Gray finished off a counter attack with an angled finish after he was found by Jamie Vardy.

Villa suffered late heart break at Goodison Park and remained in the relegation zone with two matches left to play.

Konsa put Villa ahead when he showed great reactions in the box to get on the end of Conor Hourihane's free kick.

However, Everton equalised three minutes from time through Walcott as he headed in despite Konsa's attempted clearance.
