Liverpool 5-3 Chelsea:Reds celebrate title success with five star performance against Chelsea.
Liverpool held on against a second half inspired Blues team as they waited for their Premier League trophy to be presented to them.
Liverpool took the lead through Naby Keita right footed shot, and there was a goal for Roberto Firmino at Anfield, his first at home in the league since March 2019.
The ever improving Christian Pulisic inspired Chelsea as they came back from 4-1 to make the match 4-3, before Alex Oxlade Chamberlain rounded off the scoring from a quick Liverpool counter attack.
The first goal was scored by Naby Keita, before Alexander Arnold scored a wonderful free kick from the edge of the box, then Georginio Wijnaldum made it 3-0 with a goal from a corner, as Chelsea failed to clear their lines.
But Chelsea pulled one back through in form striker Olivier Giroud, but after the testart Firmino scored a brilliant header from a tantalising Alexander Arnold cross.
But following the introduction of Christian Pulisic, the game tides turned as the American swivelled through some Reds players before setting up fellow substitute, Tammy Abraham and he added his name on to the score sheet after he controlled a ball in from the right and fired it into the top right hand corner.
But another sub in the match, Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain ended Chelsea's hopes of a comeback as he scored after a swift counter attack, from an Andy Robertson cross.
What's next?
Liverpool next travel away to face Newcastle at St James Park, while Chelsea play their last home match of the season against Wolves knowing that a draw would be enough to send them to the Champions League next season.
