Manchester United 1-3 Chelsea:The blues make FA Cup final after De Gea's errors

Goals from Olivier Giroud and Mason Mount, with a Harry Maguire own goal allowed Chelsea to outclass Manchester United 3-1 in the FA Cup semi finals at Wembley.

Giroud gave Chelsea the lead in the first half as sluggish goalkeeping from De Gea allowed Chelsea take the lead, as United also lost Eric Bailly to injury in the first half.

De Gea was at fault again as Mason Mount scored from outside the box,his shot that any goalkeeper would have hopes of saving.

The Spaniard was not entirely convincing when Maguire made it 3-0 with an own goal from a Marcos Alonso cross.

Chelsea started the match on the front foot and should have been ahead as Marcos Alonso wasted a free header. While,Reece James struck a shot that was kept out by De Gea.

After a lengthy delay, Chelsea took the lead as Olivier Giroud's touch on a cross from Cesar Azpilicueta cross went beyond De Gea, as the keeper should have done better in the 11th minute of first half stoppage time.

And a minute after the break, De Gea allowed a 20-yard Mason Mount strike under his body, although the ball given away by Brandon Williams in the build-up to the goal didn't help at all.

Marcus Rashford flashed a beautiful cross I the box, before Harry Maguire nodded wide from a corner after Caballero came out hastily.

But it was game over as Harry Maguire got the last touch off a Marcos Alonso low cross. With Manchester United pulling one back through Bruno Fernandes from the penalty spot after Substitute, Hudson-Odoi brought down Anthony Martial in the box.

What's next?
Manchester United will continue their push for a top four spot in the Premier League when they host West Ham on Wednesday. While, Chelsea next face champions Liverpool at Anfield on the same day, as a win over the champions will all but secure their place in next season's Champions League.
