Tottenham 3-0 Leicester:Kane's brace puts serious dent on Foxes champions league ambitions

Tottenham scored three first half goals as they defeated Leicester City on Sunday in the Premier League.

Leicester City went behind in unlucky circumstances as Son Heung-Min's right footed shot came off James Justin, as it also left Kasper Schmeichel wrong footed.

The away side started to build up momentum, but went 2-0 down in the 37th minute, as they were caught up in a swift counter attack with the Foxes low on numbers in the defence. As Lucas Moura, through ball was dispatched the left boot of Kane beyond an advancing Schmeichel.

His second was sublime as he cut in on his right foot before curling the ball home to make it 3-0.

An offside flag denied Kane his hat-trick, as Spurs played out the second half with few concerns, while Leicester are now level on points and goal difference with Manchester United after a disappointing defeat.

What's next?
Spurs next travel to Crystal Palace in their final match of the season, while Leicester City welcoming Manchester United to the King Power Stadium in what could be a make or mar clash in the champions league race.
